Juventus are still in active talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the future of Randal Kolo Muani, following the French striker’s successful loan spell in Turin during the second half of the 2024/25 season.

Despite registering 10 goal contributions in just 19 appearances, a permanent deal has yet to be agreed.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, discussions between Juventus and PSG are ongoing, with a new round of negotiations scheduled next week.

The two clubs are still working out the formula of the deal, and Juventus are pushing for a solution that fits their current financial limitations.

PSG are aiming to recoup at least €50 million for the 25-year-old, who cost the club €95 million when he joined from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023.

After struggling under Luis Enrique with just two starts in all competitions Kolo Muani was loaned out, where he regained form and confidence under then-Juventus boss Thiago Motta and successor Igor Tudor.

Despite the resurgence, PSG appear ready to move on. Reports suggest the Parisians are open to a loan deal with a mandatory purchase clause set at €50 million.

While Juventus remain the frontrunners, Premier League clubs are monitoring the situation closely. Both Manchester United and Newcastle United have been offered the chance to sign Kolo Muani..

United’s interest has grown following Marcus Rashford’s loan move to Barcelona, freeing up both squad space and budget. Kolo Muani is on a shortlist of attacking options being considered by manager Rúben Amorim, though United would prefer a flexible deal rather than an outright purchase at PSG’s current asking price.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are in the market for a versatile forward as they aim to refresh their frontline after an underwhelming season.

Despite Kolo Muani’s desire to stay in Turin and the club’s admiration for his abilities, Juventus’ financial constraints remain a stumbling block.

A permanent transfer will require creative structuring possibly a loan with an obligation to buy, deferred payments, or add-ons tied to appearances and goals.

Kolo Muani is also attracting interest from other clubs, but his preference may lie with Juventus, where he found rhythm and regular minutes last season.

Kolo Muani’s future remains unresolved, but Juventus are pushing hard to retain him. However, with Premier League clubs circling and PSG firm on their valuation, the next week of negotiations could prove decisive.
