Juventus at risk of losing Kolo Muani as PSG’s firm stance stalls transfer talks
The future of French striker Randal Kolo Muani continues to generate speculation across Europe, and Juventus remain one of the clubs most keen on securing his services.
The Bianconeri have never hidden their desire to bring the player back to Turin, but the deal is proving far from straightforward. While a return to Juventus is a concrete option, it is not the only path on the table.
From Germany, reports suggest that Premier League side Newcastle United have entered the race, identifying Kolo Muani as a top target after missing out on Benjamin Sesko.
Newcastle’s pursuit of a new striker has intensified, and Kolo Muani is one of the most prominent names on their list. According to Sky Sport Deutschland, alongside the Frenchman, the Magpies are also tracking Ollie Watkins, Gonçalo Ramos, and Nicolas Jackson.

Despite these alternatives, Kolo Muani remains one of their preferred options. Having returned to Paris Saint-Germain weeks ago, the forward appears to be surplus to requirements under coach Luis Enrique, as last season already demonstrated.
Juventus, for their part, have not lost sight of their goal. Bringing Kolo Muani back to the Allianz Stadium is considered a priority, and sporting director Modesto has publicly expressed confidence in the deal.
However, negotiations are complicated. PSG have yet to agree to the loan formula that Juventus favor and are holding firm on a price tag of around €50 million for a permanent transfer.
Continuous contact between the clubs is ongoing, but sources close to the talks believe more time will be needed before a breakthrough can be reached—despite Kolo Muani’s own wish to return to the Bianconeri.
The recent sale of Timothy Weah has not directly unlocked the funds required for the Kolo Muani operation, but it has eased Juventus’ financial situation.
This could allow them to mount a stronger push for the player. Even so, Newcastle’s superior financial power is a factor that cannot be underestimated.

If the Premier League club decides to make a substantial offer, Juventus risk losing the race.
The coming weeks will be decisive. Juventus will need to balance patience with urgency—moving too slowly could see Newcastle or another Premier League side swoop in.
The deal hinges on PSG’s willingness to compromise and on whether Juventus can structure an offer that is financially viable yet competitive.
For now, both the player’s desire and Juventus’ interest remain strong, but the path to an agreement is still long and uncertain.
