Juventus remain firmly in the race for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, as fresh talks were held on Monday between the two clubs and the player’s representatives.

With the final days of the transfer window approaching, the Bianconeri are determined to explore every possible avenue to land the French striker, despite the uncertainty surrounding Dusan Vlahovic’s future.

Juventus are keeping their options open and are not strictly tying a potential move for Kolo Muani to a departure for Vlahovic.

The club continues to express internal confidence in the strength of the current squad, which head coach Igor Tudor believes is sufficient. Yet, the ambition to bring in a high-profile striker like Kolo Muani remains strong—and not just as a fallback plan.

Monday’s discussions served to reassess the feasibility of a move that has fluctuated drastically in recent weeks—at times appearing close, at other times seemingly off the table.

While progress has not been linear, what’s remained consistent is the player’s desire: Kolo Muani has shown no interest in other offers, and his camp has kept in regular contact with Juventus.

After a brief pause in talks, partly to evaluate alternatives, Juventus have once again approached PSG, signaling renewed intent.

Encouragingly, the path forward appears slightly less steep than it did before—thanks in part to Kolo Muani’s continued willingness to wait, and to Juventus’ strategic persistence, backed by ownership. However, as always, the deal hinges on financial sensibility.

Juventus will not go beyond reason, and sporting director Damien Comolli is reportedly unwilling to weigh down the club’s wage bill with a risky, high-cost deal.

Meanwhile, Dusan Vlahovic’s future remains unresolved. Despite scoring in the season opener against Parma, the Serbian striker is not seen as untouchable. Juventus are open to letting him go, largely for financial reasons.

Vlahovic himself is open to a move if it allows him to be a key figure at a top-level club. So far, the only viable path seems to lead to AC Milan, where he could theoretically join a revamped attack featuring Max Allegri, new signing Harder, and frontman Santiago Giménez.

However, for Milan to make the deal happen, a number of conditions must align—starting with a reduction in Juventus’ asking price (currently €20 million, with Milan only ready to offer around €15 million plus bonuses), and a significant wage cut from Vlahovic himself.

The Serbian forward is reportedly open to accepting a long-term contract worth around €6 million per season to facilitate the move.

As the final days of the transfer window tick by, Juventus find themselves at a critical juncture. The dream scenario—signing Kolo Muani and offloading Vlahovic—remains alive, but delicate.

More talks are expected in the coming hours, with hopes that outgoing transfers might provide the clarity and flexibility needed to complete one final major move.

The race to reinforce the squad hasn’t stopped. And now, with just one curve left before the finish line, Juventus know this is the moment to act—before it’s too late.
