Juventus completes Zhegrova transfer from Lille

Juventus strengthens their attacking options with Edon Zhegrova on the penultimate day of the transfer window.

The Kosovar winger becomes the club’s latest offensive reinforcement, with all terms of the deal officially finalized, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

Initial contacts with Zhegrova’s representatives took place several weeks ago, with the player showing immediate openness to a move to Turin.

Once Marseille stepped aside, Juventus moved decisively in the final days of the window, also factoring in Nico Gonzalez’s imminent transfer to Atletico Madrid, which was linked to Zhegrova’s arrival.

Zhegrova leaves Lille after several seasons, fulfilling his long-standing wish to move on. With his contract set to expire in June 2026, the player had already informed Lille that he would not be renewing. Juventus secures him on a permanent transfer.

Juventus accelerated negotiations with Lille in recent days and reached a full agreement following the player’s approval. The transfer fee is reported to be around €20 million, the sum that convinced Lille to give the green light.

After a summer of waiting for the right opportunity, Zhegrova is ready to begin his new adventure in Italy. The player is expected to arrive in Turin in the coming hours, possibly even later today.
