Juventus defender nears loan move to Porto
Juventus defender Tiago Djalò is on the verge of joining Porto on loan, as reported by market expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Portuguese center-back has agreed to the move, and both clubs are now finalizing the details regarding the payment of his wages, which could be split between Juventus and Porto.
Djalò, who joined Juventus in January, quickly found himself surplus to requirements under new coach Thiago Motta.
Despite efforts to secure a move over the summer, the 24-year-old remained at the club, with a potential transfer to Roma even falling through at the last minute after he had already undergone medical tests.
In recent days, however, the opportunity to return to his home country emerged, and it now appears that Djalò will be heading back to Portugal.
The deal is in its final stages, with an official announcement expected soon.
As the negotiations near completion, Juventus fans will be watching closely to see how this latest move impacts the club’s defensive lineup for the season.
