Juventus are preparing for a busy summer transfer window as they gear up for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.

The Bianconeri are looking to bring in at least four new players, including a striker, with Bologna’s rising star Santiago Castro emerging as a new target in attack.

While the team focuses on pre-season preparations on the pitch, newly appointed General Manager Damien Comolli is working behind the scenes to reshape the squad.

One of his first major tasks will be to appoint a new sporting director and technical director   critical roles for executing Juventus’ transfer strategy.

Strengthening the backline is a priority. Juve are keen on Leonardo Balerdi of Marseille, though his current coach Roberto De Zerbi is reportedly reluctant to let him go. To sweeten the deal, Juventus could offer either Nico Gonzalez or Samuel Mbangala, along with a transfer fee.

Other defensive options include Giovanni Leoni from Parma and Pietro Comuzzo of Fiorentina — two promising young Italian center-backs.

In midfield, Davide Frattesi (Inter Milan) and Florentino (Benfica) are high on Juventus’ wishlist, especially as Newcastle United appear unwilling to part ways with Sandro Tonali. Both players bring dynamism and tactical intelligence that align with Juve’s evolving midfield philosophy.

The need for a new forward is clear. Santiago Castro, who impressed last season at Bologna, has now surfaced as a potential candidate. The 20-year-old Argentine has been praised for his clinical finishing and movement off the ball   attributes Juventus desperately need up front.

Additionally, the club has made contact with Viktor Gyökeres’ representatives, while interest in Mateo Retegui and Jonathan David remains alive.
