What do Dusan Vlahovic, Andrea Cambiaso, and Douglas Luiz have to do with Antonio Conte? Nothing directly.
However, the Napoli coach recently made a statement that, while aimed at his own club, could perfectly apply to Juventus and the situations surrounding these three players.
Conte recently said, “Problems need to be solved, not just set aside, because sooner or later, they come back.” He was referring to Napoli’s handling of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and the transfer market. However, this idea extends to Juventus as well, particularly regarding Vlahovic.
The Serbian striker remained at the club despite Juventus being open to offers for him in January. His future could be determined in the coming days, and if no contract renewal is reached, his departure may only be postponed until the summer.
Another unresolved situation involves Cambiaso. Manchester City kept Juventus on edge with the promise of a major offer for the Italian full-back one that never materialized.
While he remains in Turin for now, the question remains: will City return with a concrete bid in the summer? And if they do, will Juventus set the same price for his departure?
Then there’s Douglas Luiz. Manchester City, along with other clubs, showed interest in him, but no deal was ever finalized. Juventus’ stance on the Brazilian will likely depend on his performances in the coming months.
His future in Turin remains uncertain, and he has limited time to prove himself. All three players stayed at Juventus not necessarily by choice, but because no solutions were found.
Their situations remain unresolved, merely postponed. As pointed out by IlBianconero, Juventus will need to find answers sooner rather than later.
