Juventus getting ready to make a move to sign Premier League defender on a free
Liverpool where the transfer markets biggest spender spending a total of €482 million roughly to bring in players. Liverpool did this to cement their title win from last season. They got most of the players they wanted especially in the attack brining in big names like Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak.
But their was still one big name they missed out on, despite being able to get everyone else. This was Crystal Palace centre back Marc Guehi who has reportedly been looking for a way out of the club. Palace has been highly successful as of late winning the FA Cup in a shock upset and earning Uefa Conference League qualification.
Guehi was one of the two key players to this success the other being Eberechi Eze. Eze was sold to Arsenal this summer but Palace decided to hold out and keep Guehi. This was because they didn’t like the terms that Liverpool was giving to them, but their is one reason for these bad offers.

This is because Guehi contract expires at the end of this season which is why he could have been sold. This is the same scenario Juventus where in with Dusan Vlahovic in this transfer window. This would see Marc Guehi available for any team to sign on a free pre contract in January.
Juventus could make an offer to him as Juventus have been looking to improve the defensive depth. This has been since the start of last season but no deal has come to fruition. However the Guardian reports that Juventus could make a move for Guehi to complete this deal.
But, even if Juventus put a bid in they will face elite competition for his signature. Liverpool will likely come for Guehi again as the future of Ibrahim Konate is uncertain at the club. Liverpool won’t be the only big team with Bayern Munich and Barcelona also needing central defenders.
