Juventus have reportedly held initial talks with Chelsea over the possible signing of forward Nicolas Jackson, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

The 23-year-old Senegalese striker has had a difficult time at Stamford Bridge, drawing criticism for his inconsistent performances and disciplinary issues.

His recent red card in Chelsea’s 3-1 loss to Flamengo at the Club World Cup further fueled frustration among fans and raised doubts about his future under new head coach Enzo Maresca.

Jackson’s form has dipped in recent months. Despite his early promise, he struggled to score goals last season and continued to collect unnecessary bookings.

Many Chelsea supporters have begun to lose faith in him, especially with the club adding young striker Liam Delap to their squad this summer.

Despite his struggles, Jackson still has admirers. Juventus have made early contact with Chelsea, exploring the possibility of a deal. Serie A rivals Napoli are also said to have shown interest.

Jackson is known for his energy and link-up play in attack, often helping build moves and creating chances for teammates.

However, his poor finishing and lack of discipline have limited his impact. With Chelsea in need of a consistent, reliable striker, the club may consider offloading Jackson to make room for a new number 9.

It remains to be seen if Juventus will follow up with a formal offer, but their interest suggests Jackson’s time at Chelsea could be coming to an end sooner rather than later.
