Juventus are actively seeking to offload Argentine winger Nico Gonzalez this summer, the Bianconeri are hopeful a club from the Saudi Pro League will step forward with a permanent offer.

Gonzalez, who joined the Turin giants just a year ago, has failed to meet expectations following his €33 million move from Fiorentinastructured as an €8 million loan with a €25 million obligation to buy.

In his debut campaign with the Bianconeri, the 26-year-old scored just five goals and delivered four assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.

Despite brief moments of promise including goals against Udinese and Monza Gonzalez has struggled to cement a place in Juventus’ long-term plans.

Juventus are seeking a permanent transfer worth €30 million, and believe Saudi clubs are the most likely candidates to meet this valuation.

While Gonzalez reportedly has admirers in the Bundesliga and Premier League, any interest from those leagues is expected to come in the form of loan deals with options to buy—an arrangement Juventus are not keen on.

A full transfer would allow new Juventus sporting director Damien Comolli more financial flexibility as he aims to reshape the squad.

Offloading Gonzalez could help the club retain Portuguese winger Francisco Conceição and push for the signing of Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.

As the summer window progresses, all eyes will be on whether a concrete Saudi offer materializes—potentially ending Gonzalez’s brief and underwhelming spell in Turin.
