Juventus is working hard both on the field and in the transfer market as they look to finalize the signing of Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta.

After securing Nico Gonzalez and Francisco Conceicao, Juventus is focused on bringing in another key player for manager Thiago Motta, with Koopmeiners being their top target throughout the summer.

Finalizing the Deal

After weeks of negotiations, Juventus and Atalanta are now in the final stages of talks. The latest offer from Juventus stands at €59 million, including bonuses, which is close to the €60 million that Atalanta has been demanding.

The Turin-based club is hopeful that the deal will be completed tomorrow, making Koopmeiners their latest acquisition.

Atalanta’s Position

Initially resistant to the transfer, Atalanta has now accepted that retaining Koopmeiners may not be feasible. Luca Percassi, Atalanta’s CEO, commented on the situation, stating, The club’s goal was to keep all key players from last season.

This summer, we’ve had to deal with unexpected situations, which is disappointing. We’ll see what happens in the coming days, and any decision will be made in the best interest of the club.

Koopmeiners has not trained with Atalanta since early August and is eagerly awaiting the move to Juventus, with whom he already has a personal agreement in place.
