Juventus is preparing for the summer transfer market and evaluating upcoming costs

The transfer market never takes a break, and as Juventus evaluates its recent expenditures, attention inevitably turns to what’s already set (or nearly set) for the near future.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Ilbianconero), the financial implications of upcoming decisions are hard to ignore. Juventus’ summer spending will heavily depend on a series of confirmed or likely moves, with key players on loan or under negotiation for permanent deals.

One of the major moves on the horizon involves Francisco Conceição currently on loan from Porto. Juventus has agreed to pay 7 million euros plus an additional 3 million euros in bonuses for the Portuguese winger’s loan, but this deal is expected to lay the groundwork for a permanent transfer. The total cost for Conceição could reach an additional 20-25 million euros, further increasing the club’s investment in the 21-year-old.

Another important figure in the summer transfer market is Pierre Kalulu currently on loan from AC Milan. Juventus will likely exercise the right to buy him, which would require them to pay a transfer fee of 14 million euros to the Italian club.

In contrast, the situation regarding Renato Veiga and Randal Kolo Muani appears clearer: both players will return to their respective clubs, London and Paris, on July 1st.

Much of Juventus’ future will depend on the next three months. The club’s fate rests on the performance of head coach Thiago Motta, who will need to find a consistent formula for his team.

Achieving solid results, particularly securing a Champions League spot, is critical for Juventus, not only for sporting prestige but also for financial reasons. There are still many unanswered questions surrounding the squad’s development.

For example, will Manuel Locatelli, Douglas Luiz, and Teun Koopmeiners become the midfield trio Juventus has been hoping for, or will the club need to reassess its plans? The upcoming months will be crucial for identifying the team’s strongest lineup and securing its future direction. Now is the time to make key decisions, and Juventus must ensure it’s prepared for the challenges ahead.
