Juventus likely to abandon pursuit of Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker born in 1998 and currently under contract with Napoli, appears to be slipping off Juventus’s radar as a potential reinforcement for the upcoming season.
The Nigerian international was a favored target of Cristiano Giuntoli, the former Juventus Football Director, who is now reportedly on the verge of leaving the club.
With Giuntoli’s departure imminent, the Bianconeri are expected to shift their focus to alternative attacking options. Osimhen, who spent the 2024–2025 season on loan at Galatasaray, has been a subject of interest for several top European clubs.
However, Juventus’s internal restructuring and the anticipated changes in their transfer strategy suggest that the club may no longer prioritize the acquisition of the Nigerian forward.
The situation underscores the dynamic nature of football transfers, where managerial changes can significantly influence a club’s recruitment plans.
As Juventus navigates this transitional period, their approach to strengthening the squad, particularly in the attacking department, will likely evolve to reflect the vision of the new leadership.
