Juventus have reportedly identified Marcus Rashford as their top transfer target this summer, as they look to strengthen their attack under new boss Igor Tudor.

According to The Sun, the Italian giants are accelerating their efforts to land the Manchester United forward, who is also attracting serious interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Rashford, 27, spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, where he began rediscovering his form with two goals in 10 Premier League appearances.

Though Barcelona is said to be Rashford’s preferred destination, Juventus remain determined to make a deal happen.

With Jadon Sancho’s wage demands reportedly complicating his own potential move to Turin, Juve now see Rashford as the more desirable albeit more expensive option.

United are believed to want around £40 million for the England international, who fell out with head coach Ruben Amorim and has since been frozen out of the squad. His £300,000-a-week salary could prove a hurdle, but Juve are hopeful they can work out a deal.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are also making their move. Following their failure to land Nico Williams, who signed a new deal with Athletic Bilbao, Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has reportedly urged the club to push for Rashford.

Spanish journalist Matteo Moretto claims the Catalan side are proposing a loan deal with an option to buy, partially funded by Manchester United to offset his high wages.

The coming weeks are expected to be decisive, as Rashford’s future lies between some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Juventus, however, appear keen to win the race and bring the exiled United star to Serie A in what could be one of the most talked-about deals of the summer.
