Juventus make new offer for Vlahovic

If you ask any supporter of any club, or even do a survey of the management from every top club in the world, and ask the question “If you could have the choice of any young player coming up in this summer’s transfer window, who would it be?” There is no doubt that the name Dusan Vlahovic would be amongst the leading vote getters, along with of course Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, and for good reason, as just like Haaland, he has burst on to the scene and taken Europe by storm, as so far this season, he is the leading goal scorer in the Italian Serie A, at the young and tender age of only 21

From the moment Vlahovic announced he would be leaving Fiorentina at the end of the season, reports always suggested that Juventus and Arsenal were the clubs that he has been linked with the most. The reason for this is because it was initially the two clubs who were fighting for the then 16 year old Serbian who ended up choosing his current club side Fiorentina, which I suspect was because he thought it would give him the quickest opportunity to prove himself as a first team player, which is obviously a gamble that has certainly paid off, proving that good things always happen when you are willing to place a bet on yourself.

After tonight’s lack lustre uninspiring performance against Milan, which saw the Bianconeri draw 0-0, without producing even a single shot on target, it’s clear that reinforcements are needed and if Juventus wish to make the Champions League next season, a big name signing, and preferably a Striker is what is needed. It seems Vlahovic is the name that’s not going away in the rumour mill, as a few days ago it was reported by Nico Schira that the player and Juventus had agreed to terms on a new 5 year contract. Just like former Fiorentina Captain Federico Chiesa, Vlahovic only wants to play for Juve, leaving a deal between the players currant club and the Bianconeri, as the only thing standing in the way from making this actually happen.

In the last couple of days the internet had been buzzing from a Fabiana Della Valle report in Gazzetta.com that said Juve had made an offer of €35M plus Dejan Kulusevski, which prompted insiders to quickly react and say that the offer was made and quickly rejected. A new report from Andrea Bosco from Radio Bianconera says that Fiorentina have asked that if they give a little bit more cash incentives, and Weston McKennie, then a deal can be closed for Vlahovic. This mornings headline in the Gazzetta says according to Fabiana Della Valle, Juventus are willing to sign Vlahovic at any costs. So if thats the case and this latest rumour is true, then the two clubs may have a deal.
