Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, the Serbian midfielder for Lazio, has reportedly decided not to renew his contract with the club, which is set to expire in 2024.
While no other team has made an official move for the player, Juventus has put an offer on the table. According to Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, Juventus has offered €25 million plus bonuses for Milinkovic-Savic.
The Bianconeri are the only team to have made an official bid for the midfielder, who has been linked with several top European clubs in recent years.
Milinkovic-Savic has been a key player for Lazio since joining the club in 2015. He has made over 300 appearances for the Biancocelesti, scoring 69 goals and providing 59 assists.
The 28-year-old has also been a regular for the Serbian national team, earning 41 caps and scoring seven goals.
Juventus is looking to strengthen its midfield ahead of the new season, and Milinkovic-Savic would be a valuable addition to the team.
However, it remains to be seen whether Lazio will accept Juventus’ offer or hold out for a higher bid.
Juventus have long been rumored to be interested in signing Milinković-Savić and have been in talks with his agent. While it is said that Adrien Rabiot may leave after his contract expires, Milinković-Savić has been said to be one of his potential replacement.
