Juventus have reignited their interest in Feyenoord’s star defender David Hancko, hoping to outmaneuver Al-Nassr in the battle for the Slovak international’s signature.
Juventus have once again placed Hancko on their transfer radar. While the club’s main focus this summer has been on boosting their attack, Juve remain open to adding a centre-back especially one with Serie A experience like Hancko.
The Slovak defender has recently held talks with Saudi side Al-Nassr, but no agreement has been finalized yet. This delay has given Juventus a chance to re-enter the race.
Since joining Feyenoord from Sparta Prague in 2022, Hancko has been one of the Eredivisie’s standout defenders.
Known for his leadership, aerial dominance, and technical skill, he has made 140 appearances, scored 15 goals, and provided 12 assists impressive numbers for a central defender.
The 27-year-old is also no stranger to Italian football, having previously played for Fiorentina. That familiarity could make his transition to Juventus smoother than other potential defensive targets.
While Juventus aim to rebuild and challenge for titles in Serie A and Europe, Al-Nassr are also pushing hard to strengthen their squad with top European talent.
Hancko is seen as a key piece in their defensive plans, but Juventus’ renewed interest may complicate those efforts.
