Juventus Next Gen suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of Arzignano Valchiampo in their latest Serie C clash on Sunday. The Bianconeri fielded a 3412 starting lineup with the most votes, but it was the visitors who claimed all three points.

The game’s only goal arrived in the 28th minute when Arzignano produced a swift counter-attack that caught the Juventus defense off guard. Despite goalkeeper Giovanni Daffara’s best efforts, he was unable to prevent the ball from crossing the line.

Despite dominating possession and creating a host of chances, the Next Gen failed to find the back of the net, with Kenan Yildiz coming closest to equalizing. The forward, making only his second start in Serie C, saw his effort saved by the Arzignano goalkeeper.

Emanuele Pecorino also came close to leveling the score for the hosts, hitting the crossbar with a powerful strike. However, it wasn’t to be, and the Next Gen suffered a frustrating defeat.

The defeat leaves the Next Gen’s playoff hopes hanging in the balance, with their fate out of their hands. They will need to rely on results elsewhere in the league to have any chance of reaching the postseason.
