Juventus not done with Sancho deal yet
Juventus have not closed the door on Jadon Sancho. Despite delays, the English winger remains eager to join the Bianconeri, and new signs suggest the deal is still alive.
Sources indicate that if it were solely up to Sancho, he would have already joined Juventus’ pre-season camp at Continassa.
Coach Igor Tudor was also hoping to work with him immediately. But the situation remains in limbo, awaiting key developments.
A strong signal that negotiations are ongoing came yesterday, when Matthew Conning, the intermediary representing Manchester United in the Sancho talks, was spotted in Turin and even at Continassa.
This confirms that Manchester United and Sancho himself are still pushing to complete the move.
The deal is already well-structured both in terms of finances with United and personal terms with Sancho’s representatives. However, the transfer remains paused.
Why? Juventus must first offload players to create room in the squad. This has been clearly communicated in recent talks, but crucially, the club has not ruled out Sancho. The Englishman is still waiting patiently for the green light.
Juventus have already parted ways with Samuel Mbangula and Alberto Costa, the latter replaced by new signing Joao Mario. But two more key departures are needed to make the Sancho transfer possible:
Timothy Weah: Talks are ongoing with Marseille, though there’s still a gap in valuations. Premier League clubs are also circling.
Nico Gonzalez: Juve awaits firm offers. Interest from Saudi Arabia exists, but the player has yet to accept.
The strategy is clear: offload Weah and Gonzalez, then seal the Sancho deal. But time may not be on their side.
Sancho remains committed to waiting for Juventus—but not forever. With Nottingham Forest showing interest, Juventus may need to act soon or risk losing out on their long-time target.
The Sancho-to-Juventus saga is far from over. As sales progress, the Bianconeri could soon make their move. Until then, the ball is in Comolli’s court—and the clock is ticking.
