The Official Fan Clubs of Juventus worldwide have released a joint statement in response to the decision of the FIGC Federal Court of Appeal.
The statement highlights several critical issues with the decision, including: Distorted application of sports law, violation of basic legal principles like due process and the right to be heard, application of sanctions without adequate motivation, use of evidence without probative value and application of a general rule instead of a specific one.
The fan clubs believe that the decision shows the partiality and hasty nature of sports justice, and that it violates the basic principles of law.
They also express frustration with the media coverage of Juventus and the partial narration of their stories.
Despite the potential for a positive outcome from the Sports Guarantee College at CONI, the statement notes that the damage has already been done and that the Juventus championship is already altered.
