Douglas Luiz is reportedly on his way out of Juventus after just one season at the club, following a disappointing campaign under coach Igor Tudor.
According to sources close to the club, the Brazilian midfielder has been placed on the transfer list, with Juventus lowering their asking price to between €25 and €30 million.
Luiz joined the Bianconeri last summer from Aston Villa with high expectations, but he struggled to find form or consistency in Serie A.
He failed to register a single goal or assist and was used only sporadically, unable to adapt to the tactical and physical demands of Italian football.
As Juventus begins a major squad overhaul aimed at improving its midfield, the club has informed Luiz that he is free to find a new team during this transfer window.
The 27-year-old is reportedly open to returning to the Premier League, where he previously found success.
Several English clubs have already made contact with Luiz’s representatives. Wolves, Burnley, and Everton are said to have inquired about his salary and transfer conditions. Fulham have also made preliminary contact.
Manchester United are monitoring Luiz as part of their plan to rejuvenate their midfield with more dynamic players, but they have not yet submitted a formal bid.
Despite stronger interest from England, Luiz could still remain in Italy. AC Milan have reportedly opened talks with his agents to explore a potential move. However, Roma appear to have dropped their interest, considering Juventus’ valuation too high.
As the summer transfer window continues, Luiz will weigh his options, with an exit from Turin now looking more and more likely.
