Juventus prepares for Cagliari clash with major lineup changes

As Juventus gears up for their Serie A encounter against Cagliari, the team continues to undergo significant changes under Thiago Motta. The season has been marked by inconsistency, with moments of brilliance like their victory over Inter Milan followed by setbacks such as the recent loss to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League. The lack of a stable lineup has been a point of concern, with injuries and tactical experiments impacting their performance.

Ahead of the 26th matchday, Juventus is expected to field a reshuffled starting XI once again. The absence of Renato Veiga due to injury forces a defensive change, likely bringing Lloyd Kelly into the lineup.

A decision is still pending on whether Andrea Cambiaso will be fit to start or if Nicolò Savona will be given the opportunity. Additionally, Manuel Locatelli is being considered as a potential partner for Federico Gatti in defense.

According to Ilbianconero, Khephren Thuram is set to return to the starting lineup after making a substitute appearance in the Champions League. Changes are also anticipated on the flanks, with Samuel Mbangula and Kenan Yildiz potentially replacing Francisco Conceição and Nico González. Overall, at least four or five adjustments from the previous match are expected, highlighting the ongoing search for stability within the squad.

With February coming to a close and their European campaign ending prematurely, Juventus fans are eager for more consistency and a clear tactical direction.

The frequent rotations indicate that Motta is still searching for the ideal formula, but time is running out to establish a reliable structure. As they face Cagliari, securing a convincing victory could help restore confidence and provide a much-needed sense of direction for the remainder of the season.
