Juventus and AC Milan are both eyeing a move for UD Almeria’s promising right-back, Marc Pubill, with reports from Italy suggesting the Spanish defender is now a top target for both Serie A giants.

Juventus have identified the 22-year-old as their number one option to strengthen the right side of their defense, matching Milan’s interest which was reported earlier this week by Sky Sport Italia.

Marc Pubill, under contract with Almeria until June 2029, made 34 La Liga appearances playing for both Almeria and Levante.

Known for his solid defensive work and ability to support attacks, he has also featured for Spain’s U21 side, most recently during the UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2025.

His growing reputation has now drawn serious attention from Italy, where both Milan and Juventus are rebuilding key areas of their squads.

Almeria are open to negotiating a deal for around €15 million plus add-ons, a fee considered reasonable by both Milan and Juventus. Additionally, the player’s wage demands are said to be manageable for either club.

Juventus have already made moves in the market, signing striker Jonathan David and are set to confirm the permanent signing of Francisco Conceição. The addition of a new right-back is one of their next key priorities.

Milan, meanwhile, have bolstered their midfield with Samuele Ricci and veteran Luka Modric, but are in urgent need of new full-backs following the departures of Theo Hernandez and Kyle Walker.

With both Milan and Juventus in the hunt, the decision may ultimately come down to Pubill’s personal preference and which project he believes offers the better platform for his development.
