Juventus set price tag for Nicolò Savona after Nottingham Forest submit bid
Nicolò Savona could be on his way out of Juventus, with Premier League side Nottingham Forest pushing hard to bring the Italian defender to England before the summer transfer window closes.
According to Sky Sport, Nottingham Forest have opened formal talks with Juventus for the 21-year-old, and while the deal is far from finalized, the interest from the English club is serious and concrete.
Forest have reportedly submitted an offer of €11 million for Savona in a bid to sign him on a permanent deal, with head coach Nuno Espírito Santo eager to add defensive reinforcements to his squad.
Juventus, however, are not willing to part with their young defender so easily. The Turin club has set an asking price of €18 million, meaning there’s currently a €7 million gap between offer and demand.

Savona had his breakthrough season last year, becoming a regular starter in Serie A. Despite his recent contract renewal — which ties him to Juventus until June 30, 2030 — the club is open to considering a sale if the financial terms are right.
This isn’t the first time the two clubs have negotiated during this transfer window.
Earlier in the summer, Juventus and Nottingham Forest had agreed terms for a dual deal involving Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula, but Weah’s refusal to move to England caused the transfer to collapse.
Weah eventually joined Marseille, while Mbangula moved to Werder Bremen.
However, the two clubs did successfully complete one transaction: Douglas Luiz returned to the Premier League after a disappointing season in Turin, in a separate deal between the sides.

Nottingham Forest announce the signing of Douglas Luiz on August 22, 2025 in Nottingham, England.
With just days left in the transfer window, time is running out for an agreement to be reached. Juventus will have to decide whether to lower their asking price, while Nottingham Forest must consider if they’re willing to increase their offer.
For now, the future of Nicolò Savona remains uncertain — but a move to the Premier League is very much on the table.
