As Juventus push to secure Randal Kolo Muani, the club is also preparing a high-profile alternative: Darwin Nunez.

Intermediaries are actively exploring the Liverpool striker’s availability in case talks for Kolo Muani fall apart.

Juventus are finding it difficult to finalize a deal for Kolo Muani, and are aware that time is crucial. That’s why they’ve revived interest in Darwin Nunez, whom they view as a strong “Plan B”  albeit an ambitious one.

At just 26 years old, the Uruguayan forward still holds massive potential, and Juventus sees him as a player who can grow under the right system.

Reports say Juventus have engaged a network of intermediaries to assess the feasibility of signing Nunez from Liverpool. His recent exclusion from the squad in a friendly against AC Milan has only intensified the speculation.

Liverpool coach Arne Slot appears to favor other options in attack, especially following the arrival of Hugo Ekitike and the club’s interest in Alexander Isak of Newcastle.

While Nunez remains under contract until 2028, Liverpool are reportedly open to offloading him either through a loan deal with an option or obligation to buy, or for a minimum €60 million transfer fee.

This opens a door for Juventus, especially if they fail to land Kolo Muani in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Saudi club Al-Hilal is still chasing Nunez. Having failed with a €70 million bid in January, they’re back in the mix under new coach Simone Inzaghi.

However, Nunez is believed to prefer staying in Europe, with his sights set on returning to Champions League football  possibly with Juventus.

As Juventus juggles complex negotiations, the pursuit of Darwin Nunez reflects their ambition to secure a top striker this summer  one who can lead the line with power, experience, and potential.

Whether Nunez ends up in Turin will depend on how fast and effectively Juventus move in the coming days.
