Juventus stop Dušan Vlahović from joining training

Juventus and Dušan Vlahović find themselves at a critical crossroads this summer, with growing signs that the Serbian striker may have already played his final game for the club.

Vlahović’s status at Juventus has taken a hit in recent months. During the Club World Cup, Randal Kolo Muani was preferred in the starting lineup, signaling a possible shift in the club’s attacking strategy.

With just one year left on his current deal, the striker could choose to see out his €12 million net salary and leave for free next summer.

But Juventus have no intention of allowing that to happen.

Juventus have decided not to allow Vlahović to rejoin the pre-season training camp  which resumes in two days  until his future is resolved.

The club fears that reintegrating him without a clear plan would be disruptive and unproductive.

Juventus are exploring all avenues: a contract renewal, a summer transfer sale, or  if necessary  a contract termination. However, Vlahović seems unwilling to give up the upper hand, knowing full well that time is on his side.

The situation is financially sensitive. Juventus made a significant investment when they signed Vlahović and do not want to lose him for nothing. On the other hand, the player holds leverage due to his expiring contract and high wages.

Club officials are pushing for a quick resolution. Either the striker commits to a long-term future at the club, or he must be sold before the transfer window closes.

With the new Serie A season around the corner, time is running out for both sides to reach a solution. The next few days could decide whether Vlahović continues in black and white or begins a new chapter elsewhere.
