Juventus takes action against Torino fans over Derby disruption

Juventus Football Club has enforced its “Code of Conduct” following incidents during the Derby della Mole against Torino on November 9, 2024.

The club identified ten Torino supporters responsible for vandalizing facilities within the Allianz Stadium’s away section.

Utilizing advanced surveillance systems, including multifocal cameras, Juventus collaborated with law enforcement to pinpoint individuals who damaged seating and other stadium infrastructure.

These actions have led the club to impose sanctions under its “Code of Conduct,” resulting in bans for the offending fans from attending future matches organized by Juventus.

This enforcement mirrors a precedent set on December 30, 2023, when Juventus applied similar measures against Roma supporters following comparable disturbances.

Notably, in December 2012, the fixture was marred by altercations leading to arrests and fines for both clubs due to fan misconduct, including vandalism and offensive banners.

Juventus’s recent actions highlight the club’s proactive stance in addressing and mitigating fan-related disturbances.

By enforcing the “Code of Conduct” impartially, regardless of team allegiance, Juventus aims to deter future infractions and promote a culture of respect and sportsmanship within its venues.
