Juventus manager Igor Tudor is reportedly eager for the Bianconeri to enter the race to sign highly rated Parma defender Giovanni Leoni, as competition from Inter Milan and AC Milan intensifies.

Tudor has identified the 19-year-old Italy U21 international as a key summer target and is determined to challenge Juventus’ Serie A rivals for his signature.

Inter Milan have long admired Leoni, initially expressing interest last summer. The young center-back has only raised his stock following an impressive campaign at Parma under Cristian Chivu.

His strong defensive displays particularly in matches against top opposition have caught the eye of scouts and coaches alike.

AC Milan, too, have shown significant interest in Leoni, with the Rossoneri reportedly viewing him as a long-term solution for their backline.

Tuttosport reports that Tudor was especially impressed by Leoni’s standout performance in Parma’s 1-0 victory over Juventus last season.

The teenager managed to neutralize star forwards like Randal Kolo Muani and Dusan Vlahovic, prompting the Juventus boss to advocate strongly for his signing.

The defender is currently valued at around €40 million, a figure that reflects both his potential and current ability at such a young age.

With Leoni emerging as one of Italy’s most promising young defenders, Juventus see this as a strategic move to strengthen their defense for the future.

The club’s leadership is now working to position themselves competitively in what is shaping up to be a hotly contested transfer battle.

Whether Juventus can outmaneuver the Milan clubs in the race remains to be seen, but Tudor’s push for Leoni makes it clear that the Bianconeri are serious about investing in youth and quality this summer.
