Juventus remain focused on bringing Randal Kolo Muani back to Turin, but the Bianconeri are also preparing backup options in case talks with Paris Saint-Germain collapse.

The 26-year-old France international had joined Juventus on loan from PSG in January, delivering a solid showing that saw him climb above Dusan Vlahovic in the pecking order under coaches Thiago Motta and Igor Tudor. His performances, though mixed at times, were deemed largely positive by the club.

Juventus are now pushing for a new loan deal with an option to buy. However, PSG want any agreement to include a mandatory purchase clause, causing a deadlock in negotiations.

AC Milan and Newcastle United are also interested in Kolo Muani. Milan reportedly view him as a strong fit for Massimiliano Allegri’s counterattacking style, while Newcastle continue to monitor his situation.

Despite the interest, Kolo Muani has made Juventus his priority, feeling appreciated and supported by the club and its fans.

Still, Juventus must act swiftly to avoid losing out to their rivals as the new Serie A season approaches.

In case the deal falls through, Juventus are already scouting alternative strikers. Top of the list is Manchester United’s Rasmus Højlund. The Danish forward could be available if United secure a new number nine this summer.

Another name being monitored is Liverpool’s Darwin Núñez. The Uruguayan striker has struggled to live up to expectations since arriving at Anfield in 2022 and could be deemed surplus to requirements following Liverpool’s signing of Hugo Ekitike.

With the 2025/26 Serie A season on the horizon, Juventus face pressure to reinforce their attacking line. Whether it’s the return of Kolo Muani or a swoop for one of the Premier League’s out-of-favor forwards, the club’s next moves could define their campaign.
