With the season ending this weekend, there has been an abundance of Juventus news regarding the transfer markets and contract renewals. Here are the most notable stories to come out in the past week and what all Bianconeri can keep an eye out for this summer:

Paul Pogba

Juventini have fond memories of Paul Pogba’s time in Turin and have been dreaming of his return since he left in 2016. The Juventus management had a meeting with Pogba’s agent, Raiola’s group, about bringing him back to the Allianz Stadium.

“Pogba’s Manchester United player, I respect him and Man United,” said Juventus CEO Maurizio Arrivabene. “I respect him and Man United. Pogba’s agency also has Kean, Pellegrini…Paul was not all the main subject at today’s meeting.”

Juventus cannot afford Pogba’s asking salary of 10 million euros and a four-year contract but are willing to offer 7 million with bonuses and a three-year contract. The Frenchman is weighing his offers from PSG and Real Madrid with Juventus’ proposal in the lead.

Angel Di Maria

With Paulo Dybala and likely Federico Bernardeschi leaving at the end of the season, Juventus need creativity in attack. A short-term option for the Old Lady is Angel Di Maria whose contract expires with PSG in June. Talks have been going on for weeks between the two parties and Juventus is the front runner for the Argentine’s signature. There is an expected meeting next week to try and reach an agreement according to Nicolò Schira. Juventus are ready to offer the free agent 7 million euros for one year with an option for another season.

Matthijs de Ligt

Fabrizio Romano reported earlier on Wednesday that Matthijs de Ligt is close to signing a new contract with Juventus. The renewal would extend his current deal to June 2026. With Giorgio Chiellini leaving the club at the end of the season, Juventus want to make de Ligt the center star in the backline and build the future around him.

Other

In the meeting with Raiola’s group, Juventus also talked about Moise Kean’s future. The Bianconeri do not have the Italian striker in their plans for next season and are looking for alternative options for Kean next season with PSG monitoring the situation. Another player out of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans next season is Arthur. Management will look to either loan the player or outright sell the Brazilian if a good offer arrives.
