Juventus U19 to face Sassuolo U19 in Primavera 1 playoffs: Full schedule and rules announced

In an exciting development for football enthusiasts, the Lega Serie A has unveiled the complete playoff schedule for the Primavera 1 2022/23 championship.
The tournament will kick off with a first-round clash between Juventus U19, under the guidance of Montero, and Sassuolo U19.
The first-round matches, as well as the semifinals, will be hosted at the renowned Ricci Stadium in Sassuolo.
The lineup for the playoffs includes some of the most promising young talent in Italian football, with Juventus, Fiorentina, Roma, Torino, Lecce, and Sassuolo battling it out for glory.
On June 2nd, at 4:00 PM, the showdown begins with Sassuolo taking on Juventus U19 in what promises to be a captivating encounter.
The following day, June 3rd, at the same time, Fiorentina and Roma will lock horns in their pursuit of playoff success.
In the event of a draw at the end of any individual match during the first round, the team with the higher position at the conclusion of the First Phase will secure a spot in the semifinals.
It’s worth noting that no extra time or penalty shootouts are scheduled for the first round.
Moving on to the semifinals, the action intensifies as the top-performing teams vie for a place in the grand finale.
On June 5th, at 8:00 PM, Lecce, who emerged victorious in Match 1, will face off against the winners of the Sassuolo-Juventus clash.
The following day, June 6th, at the same time, Torino, having triumphed in Match 2, will battle against the winners of the Fiorentina-Roma duel.
Should a tie arise at the end of any individual match in the semifinals, the teams will engage in two 15-minute periods of extra time.
However, if the tie persists after the conclusion of the second period of extra time, the team with the higher position at the end of the First Phase will advance to the semifinals.
Penalty shootouts will not be held during this stage.
Finally, the grand finale will take place at the illustrious Mapei Stadium, where the winners of the semifinals will vie for the championship title.
Set for June 9th at 8:30 PM, the much-anticipated clash promises an exhilarating display of skill and determination.
In case of a draw at the end of regular and extra time during the final, the teams will engage in two 15-minute periods of extra time.
However, if the deadlock remains unbroken, a nail-biting penalty shootout will determine the ultimate victor.
As the Primavera 1 playoffs approach, the current standings indicate that Lecce, Torino, Fiorentina, Sassuolo, Juventus, and Roma are the teams to watch out for.
