As the summer transfer window intensifies, Juventus are actively working on three significant player departures: Douglas Luiz, Timothy Weah, and Dusan Vlahovic.

However, each potential exit is facing unique hurdles, complicating the Bianconeri’s plans to reshape the squad.

After skipping the first day of pre-season training on July 24, Douglas Luiz returned to Continassa on July 28, but his future with Juventus remains uncertain.

The midfielder is no longer considered central to the club’s plans and is expected to leave before the end of the window.

Luiz’s representatives are set for decisive talks with the club in the coming days, as several Premier League sides  including Everton, West Ham, Nottingham Forest, and Manchester United  are reportedly interested.

However, the Brazilian is said to prefer a move to a European competition-qualified club, which could narrow the list of suitors.

Juventus are aiming to avoid a financial loss from the €40 million deal that brought him from Aston Villa last year, meaning only serious bids likely permanent transfers  will be entertained.

Negotiations between Juventus and Marseille for Timothy Weah have stalled, with the Ligue 1 side unwilling to meet the Bianconeri’s €20 million valuation.

Marseille are reportedly offering no more than €15 million, frustrating Weah’s camp.

In a statement that added fuel to the fire, Weah’s agent Badou Sambague publicly criticized one Juventus director for “creating problems,” while praising the other two for working toward a solution.

Patience now appears to be the key to resolving the deadlock, with all parties waiting to see who will compromise first.

Striker Dusan Vlahovic, signed by Juventus in January 2022 for €70 million plus bonuses, is now officially on the market.

Despite flashes of brilliance, he has struggled to consistently deliver, and the club is open to selling him this summer.

AC Milan have emerged as frontrunners in the race, with the Serbian’s agent reportedly meeting both clubs to discuss a potential deal.

Rumors intensified when Vlahovic liked  then quickly unliked  an Instagram post by Milan forward Rafael Leão following their 4-2 friendly win over Liverpool.

While such social media activity may mean little, it has added intrigue to an already developing transfer saga.

As Juventus continue their summer reshuffle, these three high-profile exits remain central to both financial balancing and tactical restructuring under new leadership.

The next few days could be decisive for all three players  and for the direction of Juventus’ season.
