Juventus – Torino: Early Derby della Mole preview

Juventus is gearing up for the highly anticipated Turin derby, as they prepare to face city rivals Torino.

The Bianconeri, led by manager Thiago Motta, enter the match on the back of a domestic victory against Udinese and a valuable draw in the Champions League against Lille.

Torino, under the guidance of Vanoli, is currently facing a slump after a promising start to the season.

The team is desperate to turn things around. For both sides, this match is a crucial opportunity to secure vital points.

Juventus aims to keep pace with Napoli, who currently top the league, while Torino seeks to climb back into the European places.

Thiago Motta’s Potential Lineup

Motta is likely to field a similar lineup to the one that performed well in the recent European match.

Despite the draw against Lille, the team put in a solid performance, and the manager is unlikely to make significant changes.

However, there are some notable absentees. In addition to the well-known absences of Bremer and Milik, Nico Gonzalez will also miss out due to injury.

Di Gregorio is expected to start in goal after his impressive display against Lille. Savona is set to retain his place at right-back following his excellent performance and goal against Udinese.

Kalulu and Gatti are likely to partner in central defense, while Cambiaso is poised to start on the left flank.

The Attack

In midfield, Locatelli will once again be the team’s playmaker, dictating the tempo and providing support to his teammates.

Khephren Thuram has been in impressive form and is almost certain to start. Conceição, with his pace and dribbling ability, is a valuable asset for Motta.

Koopmeiners, a significant summer signing, is still searching for his first Juventus goal despite having two goals ruled out against Lille.

Up front, Kenan Yildiz is expected to be a key player. The young number 10 has already produced a spectacular goal in the Champions League and scored a brace in the derby against Inter.

Dusan Vlahovic, who recently converted a penalty against Lille, is virtually indispensable in such high-stakes matches.
