Juventus is set to take on Verona as their first away game of the Seria A season. Verona is a hot ticket after coming from a three-nil win over new look Napoli under Antonio Conte. They are showing that they can hang at the highest level. They are looking for consecutive wins to kick off their Seria A season.

Juventus looked very impressive in the first Seria A game under Thiago Motta managing a three-nil win over Como who made their return to Seria A. Juventus used a mixture of old and new players and still managed to look whole and complete.

However, the team will have at least two changes due to injuries picked up during the match against Como. The two injured players are Khepren Thuram and Timothy Weah who won’t feature against Verona.

Juventus XI (4-2-3-1)

Defence: Michele Di Gregorio will take place in goal again after his Seria A debut against Como. Juan Carbal, Bremer and Federico Gatti will play the same roles as seven days ago with Andrea Cambiaso playing higher up. Due to Cambiaso being pushed higher up Nicolo Savona will play his first game of the season.

Midfield: Manuel Locatelli will feature in the double pivot again however Khepren Thuram won’t play next to him again due to injury. This means that Douglas Luiz will come in and make his first Seria A start. The attacking three will have one change with Samuel Mbangula will feature on the left with Kenan Yildiz in the centre. Timothy Weah won’t play on the right due to injury with Cambiaso playing higher to replace him.

Attack: Dusan Vlahovic will be the lone striker again today. This could become an issue because against Como he looked a bit unsupported without a second striker.

Hellas Verona XI (3-4-2-1)

Defence: It is predicted that Verona will have no changes in defence with Dawidowicz, Coppola and Frese at centre back and Montipo in goal.

Midfield: Verona will be forced into one change in midfield with Serdar picking up an injury in the 21st minute vs Napoli. Reda Belahyane will come in to take his place due to the injury, but the rest of the midfield will stay the same. Tchatchoua, Duda and Lazovic will play with Kastanos and Livramento in the more attacking roles.

Attack: Verona will play with a lone striker like Juventus with Casper Tengstedt up top who played 73 minutes against Napoli.
