Juventus are making serious efforts to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, with a crucial video call scheduled today between the two clubs.

According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Italian giants are keen to discuss the possibility of bringing Sancho to Turin. The talks are set to take place on June 25 as both sides explore the terms of a potential deal.

Sancho spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Chelsea, but the Blues failed to agree on personal terms for a permanent transfer. As a result, Chelsea face a £5 million penalty, and Sancho will officially return to Manchester United when his loan expires on June 30.

The 25-year-old’s future at Old Trafford remains uncertain after a well-publicized fallout with former manager Erik ten Hag, who sidelined Sancho from the first team, forcing his loan exit last season.

Juventus are not the only club interested. Fenerbahce has reportedly submitted a £15 million bid, with head coach Jose Mourinho personally contacting Sancho to convince him of a move to Turkey.

One of the major obstacles for all clubs has been Sancho’s high wages, which have scared off several potential buyers.

For Manchester United, selling Sancho even at a loss compared to the £73 million they originally paid would help free up the wage bill and reset their squad ahead of the new season.

For Juventus, it could be a smart gamble to revive the career of a player whose form has dipped but whose talent is unquestionable.

With the summer transfer window now open, today’s video call could be the turning point in deciding Sancho’s future.
