Kenan Yildiz has made a powerful statement of loyalty to Juventus, turning down high-profile interest from Bayern Munich and Barcelona to stay in Turin long-term.

The 20-year-old Turkish international is set to sign a new deal that will keep him at Juventus until 2030.  The agreement includes a significant salary increase, reflecting his rising importance within the club.

Yildiz’s decision comes after a sensational showing at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where he scored three goals and provided two assists in just 251 minutes, helping Juventus reach the knockout stages.

With Juventus undergoing a major squad reshuffle this summer, Yildiz is one of the few players deemed “untouchable.”

The club is reportedly planning to build its sporting and commercial future around him, especially as he proudly wears the iconic No.10 shirt once donned by legends like Del Piero.

“Staying at Juventus for the rest of my life would be a dream for me,” Yildiz said in a recent interview.
“But in football, you never know what can happen. I prefer to enjoy the present without thinking too much about the future.”

Yildiz acknowledged the weight of wearing such a historic number but insisted that performance comes from the player, not the jersey:

“It’s an honour to wear this number, but it’s me who plays, not the number on my back. The weight of the shirt is the same for everyone.”

Final details of the new contract are expected to be completed soon. Once official, Juventus will have secured one of Europe’s most promising young talents amid increasing pressure from elite clubs.

Barcelona and Bayern may have hoped to lure him away, but the Bianconeri’s vision — and Yildiz’s heart won the day.
