Borussia Dortmund set €70M price tag for star amid Juventus
Borussia Dortmund have placed a €65–70 million price tag on winger Karim Adeyemi, according to Bild, as several European giants circle around the 23-year-old attacker.
Juventus, Chelsea, and Newcastle United have all expressed interest in signing Adeyemi this summer.
Juventus are preparing an offer in the region of €40–50 million still well below Dortmund’s valuation.
Despite the growing interest, Dortmund are reluctant to sell. The club is expected to stand firm on their asking price, just as they did in the sale of Jamie Bynoe Gittens to Chelsea for €65 million — €10 million more than Chelsea’s original offer.
Adeyemi, who is under contract until 2027, has become a crucial part of Niko Kovač’s system. He was close to leaving for Napoli during the January window but stayed and grew in importance, especially after the departure of Gittens and a recent injury to Julien Duranville.
The former RB Salzburg star has formed a strong attacking partnership with Serhou Guirassy, which Dortmund are keen to maintain going into the 2025/26 campaign.
Unless a club matches Dortmund’s €70 million valuation, Adeyemi is likely to remain at the Westfalenstadion this summer.
However, with interest heating up and clubs like Chelsea and Newcastle capable of big spending, a high-profile move cannot be ruled out just yet.
