Niclas Füllkrug agent offered Juventus a transfer boost for January window

In a surprising twist in the transfer market, Niclas Füllkrug, who only recently transferred to West Ham United from Borussia Dortmund, might be on the move again.

The German striker’s lack of consistent playtime at West Ham has sparked rumors of a potential return to Europe, with Juventus Turin emerging as a possible destination.

After moving to West Ham United for a fee close to €30 million, Füllkrug has had a rather underwhelming start in the Premier League.

With just one goal in the league, his season has been marred by injury, particularly an Achilles tendon issue that sidelined him from early September to early December.

His return saw him score his first Premier League goal for the ‘Hammers’ against Wolverhampton Wanderers, but his role under manager Julen Lopetegui has been inconsistent.

According to reports from Tuttosport, Füllkrug has been offered to Juventus by his agency, ROOF.

After some deliberation, Juventus has reportedly found a transfer model that suits them, involving a loan with an option to buy.

This move could see Füllkrug stepping in as a backup for Dušan Vlahović, although regular starting might not be guaranteed at Juventus either.

Juventus has shown interest, though they are keeping their options open. Juventus is also monitoring other forwards like Lorenzo Lucca from Udinese and Liam Delap from Ipswich Town.

However, Füllkrug’s experience and goal-scoring record in the Bundesliga make him an attractive prospect, especially considering Juventus’s need for depth in attack.

The situation with Füllkrug is fluid, with discussions slated for a later date to explore the transfer further.

While Füllkrug is one of several options Juventus is considering, his profile fits what Juventus might be looking for in terms of a reliable, hard-working forward.

Whether this transfer becomes a reality will depend on negotiations and the strategic direction Juventus decides to take in the January transfer window..
