Juventus might lose out on Victor Osimhen as Liverpool step in with a bold offer to sign the Nigerian striker from Napoli.
Osimhen recently returned to Italy after a stellar loan spell at Galatasaray. During his time in Turkey, he won two trophies and claimed the Golden Boot, proving once again why he is one of Europe’s top strikers. Galatasaray want to keep him, but a permanent move would require a huge fee.
Juventus have been working hard to sign Osimhen this summer. The club sees him as a perfect fit for their long-term project and a key piece to improve their attack. Encouragingly, Osimhen is said to prefer staying in European football, keeping Juve in the race.
Liverpool have now submitted a high-profile swap deal to Napoli: Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa in exchange for Osimhen.
This surprising offer adds pressure on Juventus, especially since Chiesa is currently their own player and a fan favorite in Turin.
New Napoli boss Antonio Conte may be tempted by the chance to rebuild his squad using two ready-made stars.
With this potential deal on the table, Liverpool have certainly made their intentions clear — and Juventus may be forced to act fast or risk losing out.
Missing out on Osimhen would be a major setback for Juventus. The Nigerian forward is widely seen as one of the best strikers in the game, and his arrival would be a major boost ahead of the 2025/26 season.
But with Liverpool’s aggressive move and Napoli open to offers, Juventus will have to either improve their proposal or find another top-level alternative. The next few weeks could decide not just where Osimhen ends up — but also the success of Juve’s summer rebuild.
