Juventus wants to sign defender from VfB Stuttgart
Italian giants Juventus have set their sights on VfB Stuttgart defender Jeff Chabot, the 27-year-old has impressed in the Bundesliga, earning praise for his consistent performances and solid presence at the back.
Chabot joined Stuttgart from FC Köln last year in a €4 million move and quickly established himself as a key figure in head coach Sebastian Hoeneß’s defense.
His commanding displays have not gone unnoticed, with Juventus now reportedly preparing a €15 million offer for the German center-back.
However, Chabot remains under contract with Stuttgart until 2028, giving the Bundesliga side the upper hand in any potential negotiations.
Club insiders suggest that Stuttgart are not in a rush to sell and could demand a fee in the region of €20–25 million for their defensive stalwart.
This isn’t the first time Juventus have shown interest in Chabot. The Italian club reportedly explored a deal for the player during the January transfer window but failed to make a breakthrough at the time.
As things stand, Stuttgart hold the cards. While Juventus are keen to bolster their defense this summer, any deal will depend on whether the German club is willing to enter the negotiation table and at what price.
