Luis Enrique hands Juventus huge Randal Kolo Muani transfer boost
Randal Kolo Muani is currently training in Paris with a group of players deemed surplus to requirements by PSG manager Luis Enrique, as talks continue with Juventus over a potential return to Turin.
While the striker remains outside of PSG’s main plans, Juventus are still working to bring him back after his loan spell last season.
The French striker, who joined Juventus on loan in January, is eager to remain in Serie A and continue wearing the black and white jersey. However, a final agreement between the two clubs has not yet been reached.
At present, Kolo Muani is training in Paris with a group of players considered surplus to requirements under PSG coach Luis Enrique.
This smaller group, which also includes Renato Sanches, Marco Asensio, and Nordi Mukiele, has resumed work ahead of the club’s full-squad return on Wednesday.
Kolo Muani’s presence in this training group suggests that he is preparing for a potential departure from PSG rather than reintegration into the first team.

Randal Kolo Muani reportedly training with PSG outcasts.
Negotiations between Juventus and PSG are centered on the structure of the deal. Juventus are pushing for a loan with an obligation to buy, while PSG prefer a permanent sale with a guaranteed fee.
The French club is reportedly asking for around €50 million upfront, whereas Juventus is proposing a structured deal involving a paid loan in 2025–26 and a mandatory transfer in 2026. PSG have not yet accepted these terms and remain firm in their stance.
Juventus currently hold priority in the race for Kolo Muani’s signature, ahead of Premier League clubs such as Chelsea, Newcatsle, Man United and Tottenham. Chelsea, initially among the frontrunners, have reportedly cooled their interest.
Despite the competition, Juventus are maintaining a conservative financial approach, setting their valuation cap between €45 and €50 million, a figure they are unwilling to exceed.
From the player’s perspective, Kolo Muani has expressed a strong desire to remain in Italy following a productive six-month spell in Turin, where he scored 10 goals in 22 appearances.
His performances, including a standout display in the FIFA Club World Cup, strengthened Juventus’s interest in making the move permanent. However, some recent inconsistency has raised internal discussions regarding his market value.
The current status of the situation can be summarized as follows:
Element | Status |
---|---|
PSG training | Training with players excluded from squad plans |
Juventus intentions | Pushing for a loan with obligation to buy |
PSG stance | Prefers an immediate sale with guaranteed fee |
Market competition | Interest from Chelsea, Newcastle, Arsenal |
Financial gap | Juventus cap at €45–50M; PSG asking ~€50M |
