Giovanni Albanese reveals Juventus plan: Kolo Muani in, Vlahović out, Conceição model reused
Juventus is quietly pushing forward in its pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani, but only under specific financial conditions — and a key factor remains the uncertain future of Dusan Vlahović.
Speaking on the YouTube channel Two Talks TV, journalist Giovanni Albanese detailed the Bianconeri’s current transfer approach, comparing it directly to their strategy last year when signing Francisco Conceição.
According to Albanese, Juventus has already made it clear that Kolo Muani wants the move to Turin, and the club is intentionally projecting calm.

The approach is to wait, remain patient, and negotiate from a position of strength. However, the primary condition is financial: Juventus cannot currently afford the Frenchman’s salary unless Vlahović is sold.
Damien Comolli recently confirmed that a move is possible, but only if Vlahović departs. Juventus has already committed significant salary space to new signing Jonathan David, making it impossible to absorb Kolo Muani’s wages without balancing the books.
Juventus is reportedly looking to avoid a mandatory purchase clause and is instead aiming for a conditional obligation or a loan formula similar to the Conceição deal.
Tactically, the addition of Kolo Muani would mark a significant shift for Juventus. Pairing him with David would create a dynamic, mobile attacking duo — a clear departure from the more static profiles of Vlahović and Arkadiusz Milik.
This shift could also benefit Kenan Yıldız, who may thrive in a supporting role behind two agile forwards.
The strategy hinges not just on financials but on squad balance. With Vlahović now considered a backup to David, and potentially even to Kolo Muani should he arrive, his status has clearly diminished.
While Tudor sees Vlahović as a good striker, the Serbian no longer fits the tactical evolution Juventus is pursuing. There are even concerns that he may end up playing a role similar to Milik’s last season — a backup with limited minutes.

AC Milan has begun exploratory talks for Vlahović, mainly through intermediaries and his entourage. However, the financial gap remains vast.
Milan is reportedly offering less than half of Vlahović’s current salary, which, including bonuses, reaches around €12 million annually. Juventus, for its part, is not willing to be the only side making concessions in any deal.
Despite strong ties between Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus remains aware that an English Premier League club could still hijack the deal with a more lucrative offer.
That unpredictability, especially in the late stages of the transfer window, complicates the situation.
In the meantime, Vlahović finds himself at a career crossroads. With the 2026 World Cup cycle looming and his role in Turin shrinking, he must now decide whether to push for a move or risk spending a season on the bench.
While Juventus stands to lose a high-profile asset, it appears unwilling to wait indefinitely or compromise its project’s financial sustainability.
All signs point to an acceleration in talks next week, especially with PSG set to resume training — without Kolo Muani in the group. Whether this triggers the final phase of negotiations remains to be seen.
