Manchester full back could be a last-minute replacement for Juventus

Juventus are set to make plenty of moves in the January transfer window as Giuntoli and Motta look to bolster the defence. This is because of the two ACL injuries suffered by Bremer and Juan Cabal. As well Danilo is set to leave Juventus as he is out of Thiago Motta plan.

Giuntoli is set to look for at least two defenders in the transfer window to bring support in the defence. They will likely be two centre backs, considering how Nico Savona has stepped up into the team. As well Pierre Kalulu can rotate into those roles.

However, it’s not a guaranteed that Juventus will manage to get two centre backs as the players linked to the club have been higher quality and expensive. But it is more likely that they go for a cheaper option to play spare minutes for the second signing.

If a second signing can’t be completed however it is likely that Giuntoli will turn towards Manchester United full back according to Mirko Di Natale. This is because Malacia is wanted out at United after a coaching change brining in Ruben Amorim over Erik Ten Hag.

Malacia was brought to United by Ten Hag over from Feyenoord in the Eredivisie but even under Ten Hag he wasn’t featured much due to injuries at United. He has only appeared 43 times and is now looking to leave Manchester.

Juventus could be his destination if nothing else works for either club come the end of January. He would likely come on a 6-month loan which would keep him in Turin until the end of the season and then Juventus could reintegrate Cabal into the squad or look for a new solution.
