The transfer market is entering its most important moment as July is fast approaching and Juventus are already thinking of making some moves to strengthen the squad following a disappointing season.

Paul Pogba’s now a player who’s likely to be the first Juventus signing ahead of the next season with both parties — Juventus and Pogba representatives — expected to meet in the coming days to finalise the final details.

The 29 years old midifleder will sign a contract until 2025 with an option to add a further year woth €7.5m + add-ons. The midfielder who left Juventus in 2016 to Manchester United on a word record fee of €100m is now set to return for free after his deal at Old Trafford runs out this summer.

However, there was a strong competition from Paris Saint-Germain — which is no longer there since Leonardo left his sporting director position — and Manchester City which Pogba refused to join, Juventus are now alone in the race to sign him as of today and wants to close the deal as soon as possible.

Paul Pogba has already given his ‘YES’ to join Juventus, but there are few details which need to be resolved to finalise agreements. Pogba to Juventus is just a matter of time.

Adrien Rabiot would leave Juventus, plus other players who could leave

In addition to Aaron Ramsey who will leave, Adrien Rabiot, Weston McKennie and Luca Pellegrini could also leave Juventus this summer.

Juventus would be prepared to sell Adrien Rabiot if they receive a good offer but it’s still difficult because of his wages. His next destination could be in the Premier League even though the club hasn’t received a concrete offer so far despite rumors, sources confirmed to Max Statman.

For Weston McKennie, there was talks between Tottenham Hotspur and his representatives in the past few months but no concrete offer as of today.

With Juventus already looking for another left-back, Luca Pellegrini is the one who could leave this summer since it’s very unlikely to see Alex Sandro leave this summer. There was talks between West Ham United and Luca Pellegrini representatives but nothing advanced yet.

On the other side of the defence, Mattia De Sciglio has signed a new contract with Juventus till 2025.

Matthjis De Ligt is also in talks for a possible contract extension, the dutch centre back’s current contract expires in 2024 but both parties are willing to extend it further. However, De Ligt demands a significant drop in current €120M release clause.

Nahuel Molina has been linked with Juventus for some weeks but sources have told Max Statman that Juventus do not plan to bring the Argentine full back this summer. The focus is on signing a left back rather than a right sided full back.

Angel Di Maria to Juventus is stalling

Angel Di Maria is the other player whose Juventus are talking to trying to convince him to sing for free this summer but the deal is stalling even though it’s not over yet.

The Argentinian winger will leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, and wants to play one season in Europe before returning to Argentina, and Juventus are interested in him but the deal looks complicated as of today.

After losing Paulo Dybala, Juventus wants to strengthen the front-line and Allegri has already given his ‘YES’ to sign Angel Di Maria for free.

Juventus has been in contacts with Jorge Mendes but there are nothing advanced with both sides struggling to agree on the figures — contract length and salary.

Angel Di Maria wants a one year contract worth €8m net, a figure Juventus doesn’t intend to meet at the moment. The Bianconeri are offering a-two-year contract with a lower salary.
