Mikel Arteta wants Juventus wonderkid ahead of summer transfer window

Arsenal are reportedly stepping up their efforts to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the upcoming transfer window, with Kenan Yildiz of Juventus emerging as a key target.
Sources close to Turkish-Football.com have confirmed that the North London club has been tracking the Turkish forward closely following his impressive performances this season in Serie A.
At just 19 years old, Yildiz has made a significant impact for Juventus during the 2024/25 season. His technical skill, composure on the ball, and ability to operate across multiple attacking positions have caught the attention of top clubs across Europe.
Primarily used as a left winger, the young star can also slot in on the right or take up a central playmaker role a tactical flexibility that fits well with Mikel Arteta’s attacking philosophy at Arsenal.
Yildiz is seen as a long-term asset by Juventus. The club extended his contract until June 2029 and awarded him the prestigious No. 10 shirt last August a symbolic gesture showing their trust in his future.
However, financial challenges could force Juventus to listen to offers. Reports suggest the Serie A giants may demand between €80 to €100 million (approximately £68.5 to £86 million) for their prized forward.
Arsenal won’t have a clear path to the youngster’s signature. Premier League rivals including Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United are all believed to be monitoring the situation and could enter the race.
For Arsenal, the addition of Yildiz would not only inject creativity and flair into their attack but also provide much-needed support for Bukayo Saka, who has carried a heavy load in recent seasons.
As the transfer market prepares to open, all attention will be on whether Arsenal can present an offer tempting enough to convince Juventus to part with one of Europe’s most promising young attackers and whether Yildiz sees his next step in North London.
