Napoli have officially entered the race to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, increasing competition for Juventus, who have recently stalled their pursuit of the English attacker.

Napoli’s Sporting Director Giovanni Manna has already made contact with Sancho’s representatives.

Sancho, who remains out of Manchester United’s plans, is now considered a valuable market opportunity due to his reduced price tag.

United are reportedly willing to sell the 24-year-old for a fee between €15 and €20 million, far less than what they originally paid to sign him from Borussia Dortmund.

Juventus had long been in talks to secure Sancho’s services, but after weeks of negotiations, the deal has stalled  opening the door for other clubs.

Napoli have turned to Sancho after their plans to sign Dan Ndoye from Bologna fell through.

Ndoye is now expected to join Nottingham Forest, leaving the reigning Serie A champions in need of an attacking reinforcement.

Manna, who recently joined Napoli from Juventus, is reportedly evaluating Sancho as a prime candidate.

Contacts between the club and Sancho’s entourage confirm that interest is serious, although Napoli have yet to make a formal bid.

The competition for Sancho is heating up. Borussia Dortmund Sancho’s former club  are also considering a move to bring him back to the Bundesliga.

Their interest, combined with Napoli’s, adds pressure on Juventus, who may now face losing a long-standing target.

For now, Sancho’s future remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: he won’t stay at Manchester United.

The coming days will be crucial as Napoli weigh their options and decide whether to push forward or pursue alternative names.
