January is coming up for Juventus and some big decisions will be made. Juventus are set to sign at least two players because there is a need for a centre back and a full back due to injury. As well as a striker will likely be needed as well due to Arek Milik’s injury history and no other back-up.
Two younger players could be moved on as they haven’t been important. These two are Nicolo Fagioli and Samuel Mbangula. Fagioli has been rumoured to a sale in the last few weeks as initially he was linked to PSG. The asking price for Nicolo Fagioli by Giuntoli and Motta is 25 million euros.
This could have led to a swap deal for Milan Skriniar but now Juventus aren’t interested in him. Juventus are now linked to different defenders in Hancko as the centre back, but a full back is still needed. The rumoured player for Juventus to sign is Patrick Dorgu from Lecce, however he has been linked to Tottenham, Napoli and Manchester United.
Samuel Mbangula is the second youngster that could be sold by Juventus. He started the season by playing well in the first two games but ever since he hasn’t played much. This is because of the signings of Teun Koopmeiners and Francisco Conceicao being completed and there are now more players in his role.
Because he is unneeded, he could be sold to help strengthen the defence or sign a new striker. Joshua Zirkzee has been the linked striker; however, he would only be on a loan. This could be because he has been in poor form at Manchester United and worked well under Motta last season.
This links to the next player that could be sold which is Dusan Vlahovic. However, this would likely not be for Zirkzee as he might only be available on loan. They could look for a different replacement and will most likely have to come in, but it would be a cheaper option that is still capable of starting.
