Nice upset with Juventus despite official bid for Todibo
Juventus has set its sights on Jean-Clair Todibo, with the club’s director, Cristiano Giuntoli, making the first official offer to Nice for the defender.
The initial proposal, valued at €30 million, included a loan with an option to buy. However, Nice rejected this offer, indicating their preference for a more definitive transfer agreement.
According to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport, Nice was also displeased with Juventus’s direct contact with Todibo.
Nice is insisting on an obligation to buy or solid guarantees that the deal will be a permanent transfer.
Despite this setback, Juventus remains in the lead for Todibo, who is reportedly keen on the move.
Meanwhile, West Ham is also interested in the defender, but Juventus is currently the frontrunner.
Negotiations are ongoing, and there is optimism within the Juventus camp. However, overcoming Nice’s demands remains a significant hurdle.
Juventus continues to work on meeting Nice’s requirements, with the hope of securing Todibo’s signature soon.
