Argentina international and Juventus winger Nicolás “Nico” González looks increasingly uncertain as three clubs have reportedly emerged as serious contenders for his signature.

González, 27, joined Juventus in the summer of 2024 on loan from Fiorentina for €8 million, with a mandatory €25 million buy clause triggered earlier this year.

Despite flashes of quality—including five goals and four assists across 38 appearances—his form remains deemed “underwhelming,” prompting Juventus to consider options after a single season.

Three clubs are showing concrete interest in him. Firstly, Atalanta are prepared to pursue González as potential replacement if their current target, Ademola Lookman, moves on.

Inter are leading negotiations to sign Lookman, though a €50 million asking price has stalled the deal, creating an opportunity for La.

Juventus have also reportedly offered González plus cash in a bid to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson, hinting at intriguing trade dynamics in the works.

The other club is Spanish side Atlético Madrid which have been pitched González through intermediaries, with the Madrid club evaluating the Argentine winger as an attacking reinforceme. No formal talks have been reported yet, but interest is gaining momentum.

Lastly, Saudi Pro League outfit Al‑Ahli have reportedly tabled a generous €30 million bid, surpassing Juventus’s valuation. They are also offering a substantial salary increase from his current €3.6 million net per season.

The club is reported to be exploring sales to balance the books and reshape the squad. With rising interest, including from Saudi Arabia, the club may capitalize financially on González’s sale.

Internally, Juventus value González at approximately €30 million, which aligns with the offers on the table. Including him in a swap deal could help offset the cost of desired signings.

Despite earlier speculation, Inter Milan have reportedly ruled out a move for González. They prefer to channel their resources into the €40 million pursuit of Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman.
