Opinion: Should Juventus cash out on Kenan Yıldız

Kenan Yıldız has had a breakout year in 2024, this came after he came off the bench in a 6-1 Coppa Italia win against Salernitana.

Ever since then he has rarely not featured in a Juventus match. Under Allegri he would come off the bench, while under Thiago Motta he has begun to start.

Yıldız has had spectacular performances with breathtaking goals such as his outside the box curled shot against PSV in his first ever Champions League game.

With all these great performances has come interest from clubs trying to sign the youngster.

One of the clubs that has been interested is English side Liverpool. Liverpool have done business with Giuntoli before after signing Federico Chiesa before the end of the last window.

Arne slot has started a rebuild at the club which has gone well with Liverpool being first in the Premier League and Champions League.

Mohammed Salah could also be a factor if Liverpool decide to chase Kenan Yıldız. Salah still has to renew his contract with Liverpool even though Salah would like too.

According to reports, however, Liverpool isn’t interested in a renewal at least on the current terms.

Yıldız could be the replacement for Liverpool if Salah leaves Liverpool. However, I believe that Juventus shouldn’t cash in on the youngster just yet.

The current offer is only 80 million euros which I don’t believe that is his high enough to justify a sale.

Because of Yıldız potential I don’t believe that 80 million is enough to accept. Of course, with potential you accept the risk of injury and failure from the player which is why the offer from Liverpool is low.

I think the mark where Juventus should consider offers for me is 110-120 million euros. This is where Giuntoli and Motta should start to weigh up the offers for Yildiz.
